Fresh Finds Are Landing at Nostalgia Shack

Recently added film posters, autographs, brochures and theatre programmes at Nostalgia Shack

The shelves at Nostalgia Shack are filling up nicely. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, photographing, researching and carefully listing every item so collectors get a clear and accurate description of what’s on offer.

Among the latest arrivals are signed photographs and memorabilia featuring names such as Julia Roberts, Tony Curtis, Catherine Deneuve, Madonna, Kirsten Dunst and Dudley Moore, plus a Hugh Bonneville signed Paddington First Day Cover. Each signed piece comes with its original certificate of authenticity and is offered exactly as received.

We’ve also added a number of vintage film brochures. Film-poster collectors haven’t been forgotten either, with an original, rolled and double-sided US One Sheet for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, featuring its striking cosmic sunset artwork, alongside posters for Jaws 3, Raging Bull and others.

Something a little different

One part of the collection we’re particularly enjoying adding is our selection of original theatre programmes. These are more than simple souvenirs: they’re snapshots of a particular production, cast and night at the theatre. Some still have their original ticket stubs tucked inside, giving them an extra sense of time and place.

Highlights include Divas at the Donmar starring Patti LuPone with its matching 1999 tickets, an early London Kiss of the Spider Woman programme with a ticket from March 1993, and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg featuring Cynthia Erivo and Joanna Riding, complete with two tickets and its original promotional insert.

Other ticketed programmes include Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard and Jerry Springer: The Opera.

They’re something a bit different for collectors of theatre, individual performers and social history. A surviving ticket can turn a programme into a small time capsule, recording the exact date, seat and usually even the original price paid.

There’s still a great deal more waiting to be listed, including original film posters, brochures, lobby cards, prints and all sorts of nostalgic treasures. Preparing each piece properly takes time, but we think it’s worth doing right.

Keep checking back, because plenty more good stuff is on the way.
