An original theatre programme for Forbidden Broadway, presented at the Albery Theatre, St Martin's Lane, London WC2. An Associated Capital Theatres (ACT) production.

This listing includes the original programme together with a matching pair of original Ticketmaster ticket stubs from the performance: Wednesday Evening, 1st September 1999, 20:00, Stalls Row AA, Seats 9 and 10, priced at £12.50 each. Both stubs are intact and fully legible.

The programme features the iconic Forbidden Broadway cover design: a glorious full-colour caricature illustration of a chaotic tumble of musical theatre characters — showgirls, divas, chorus boys and larger-than-life theatrical personalities — rendered upside-down in the style of a collapsing marquee, with the bold yellow-spotted FORBIDDEN BROADWAY logo. The back cover presents the same illustration the right way up. The cast: Sophie-Louise Dann, Mark O'Malley, Alistair Robins, and Christine Pedi, with Duncan Wisbey (Male Cover) and Deborah Stokes (Female Cover). The interior features full cast biographies — Christine Pedi's credits include a Drama Desk Award nomination and multiple Forbidden Broadway productions in New York and Los Angeles; Sophie-Louise Dann's West End credits span the Barbican, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, and numerous leading roles. Full production photography included.

Forbidden Broadway is the long-running musical theatre revue created by Gerard Alessandrini, famous for its sharp parodies of Broadway and West End productions. The London run at the Albery attracted devoted audiences and remains a collector favourite among theatre aficionados.
