Man of La Mancha (1972) Original Film Brochure

An original cinema brochure issued for the release of Man of La Mancha (1972), Arthur Hiller's musical epic based on the Broadway stage production, itself adapted from Miguel de Cervantes' immortal novel. Starring Peter O'Toole in a tour-de-force dual role as both Cervantes and Don Quixote, alongside Sophia Loren as Aldonza/Dulcinea and James Coco as Sancho Panza. A United Artists production, with the beloved score featuring "The Impossible Dream".

This substantial brochure is a superb piece of original roadshow promotional ephemera. The cover features magnificent illustrated artwork depicting the principal cast in richly detailed, decorative style — Don Quixote triumphant with lance raised, surrounded by Aldonza and a Klimt-inspired ornamental border. The interior presents lavish production photography from both the dungeon scenes and the Cervantes storytelling sequences, accompanied by synopsis and production notes.
